YARN

DK weight yarn (weight 3) - suggested bamboo, superwash merino, light weight cotton, or a silk blend, for ideal drape. Yarn estimates are in reference to Length {A, B, C} and are based on a sample made with Lion Brand, 24/7 Cotton DK Prints (100% cotton), 80 g / 219 yds / 200 m.
Size 1 = {581, 844, 1104} yds / {532, 772, 1010} m
Size 2 = {657, 950, 1243} yds / {601, 869, 1137} m
Size 3 = {767, 1112, 1457} yds / {702, 1017, 1333} m
Size 4 = {852, 1232, 1613} yds / {780, 1127, 1475} m

CONSTRUCTION

The cardigan is worked flat in turned rows. You’ll start with the back panel, working from the bottom up. Next, you’ll create each front panel, also working from the bottom up, and seam them to the back panel. Sleeves are then added to each side, and the cardigan is finished with a border, side seam, and fringe.

SIZING + FIT

This pattern is graded for hybrid sizing with positive ease of 5.5-13” / 14-33 cm built in. Sizing is written throughout as (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) and is intended to fit bust circumference (30-34, 36-42, 44-50, 52-58, 60-64)” / (76-86, 91-107, 112-127, 132-147, 152-163) cm. This pattern is graded for 3 lengths. The lengths are written throughout as Length {A, B, C} and are intended to measure {17, 24.5, 32}” / {43, 62, 81} cm in length. Keep in mind that over time the weight of the yarn combined with gravity may naturally add a bit more length.

Modifications: The size and length are easily customizable by working more or less repeats in the leaf or sleeve section. Any modifications made will increase or decrease the amount of yarn needed.
